CDD Workshop - Oct 30

The purpose of the workshop is to provide Supervisors with the opportunity to fulfill their State-mandated ethics training requirement for the calendar year and to discuss the new ethics training requirements applicable to Special District Supervisors, which may include, but is not necessarily limited to: the ethics training requirement set forth in Section 112.3142, Florida Statutes, Article II of the State Constitution, the Code of Ethics for Public Officers and Employees, and Florida’s public records and open meeting laws.  

This workshop will be facilitated by District Counsel to provide CDD Supervisors with their required four hour ethics training for the calendar year.  No CDD business will be discussed and no action will be taken on CDD business.

One or more Supervisor may attend virtually. 

The workshop is open to the public.
